Let me tell you a bit about what we believe and what this site is about… so you don’t get upset or waste your time here thinking this website is something it’s not…
We are not liberals. We’re in favor of less government not more.
We are pro-market. We believe in the free exchange of goods and services.
We believe in liberty. We think it’s none of anyone’s business what consenting adults do in the privacy of their own home or with their property.
We are against the drug war.
We abhor the war in Iraq and think that George W Bush should be impeached and charged with war crimes.
We abhor the military industrial complex that has grown like a tumor on the throat of Uncle Sam.
We are in favor of closing every single one of the thousands of American military bases around the world that serve no practical purpose for the American people who fund them.
We abhor the war profiteers and other government contractors whose interests are contrary to the American people. This is not capitalism, it’s corruption, plain and simple.
Yes, our masthead has a ripped American flag. It’s symbolic of what we feel the current administrations policies are doing to our dear nation. We are not ’un’ or anti-American.
We write and work to expose the mistakes that have dragged our great nation down the wrong path away from the prosperity and freedom we used to enjoy… the way the Founding Fathers intended…
If what you write here is true, you are not only not ultra liberals, you might be considered Teddy Roosevelt Republicans. I think it is high time some real Republicans took back the party. Smaller government, get out of my personal life, speak softly and carry a big stick type of Republicans. (as opposed of course to cut taxes but spend as much as we want, stay out of my personal life unless it goes against what I believe, run your mouth and carry a big stick Republicans)

great round up on the Iranian oil bourse. It looked like that was definitely on last April but seems now they’re getting serious. An interesting thing, may be no news to you, is that the odds given by betting agencies on election outcomes are usually better predictors than polling by media. Similarly, all the Iran-invasion rhetoric hasn’t been overly reflected in the oil markets until around last Friday when it jumped about $5 a barrel…..hmm.
